Over the past few weeks our Intro to Personal Health & Fitness students have been participating in a basketball unit. During the unit the students are learning how physical activity impacts their heart rate and how to adjust pacing to keep their heart rate in a target zone with the use of our Polar watches. Additionally, students are learning the benefits of regular physical activity and the importance of lifelong physical activities.
