Hi there! My name is Emma Poole and I teach beginner/intermediate piano out of my house in Glade Valley. My lessons are for all ages and will be offered in person & virtually. Please reach out for scheduling availability/questions.
PRICING:
30 minute session - $25
1 hour session - $50
2 students, joint 1 hour session - $75
Payments may be made via cash, check, or PayPal only and are due at the beginning of each session. Free consultation if you are interested but want to see what the lessons would be like.
I use the Faber Piano Adventures Basic series as a foundation for lessons along with a blend of supplemental resources. Books are not provided to students but print outs of all lessons and sheet music are available.
ABOUT ME:
I started taking piano lessons when I was very young and I have been playing ever since. Growing up, I studied under Charlotte Penland. I took a break from formal lessons during high school to focus on education, sports, and work. I returned to lessons during college and studied piano under Dr. Akiko Yamazaki while at UNC-Chapel Hill. By teaching piano, I hope to provide children with a growth opportunity that will enable them to have a deeper connection to music and also to provide them with the same outlet that has served me so well.
