It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our esteemed founding mentors, Nick DiFabio. Our organization consistently recognizes and values the contributions of those who have supported us, and Nick played a pivotal role in the formative years of our team as well as remained a contributor to our ongoing success. With 30 years as a FIRST mentor and 27 years with the RoboCats, the profound impact Nick had on our program and on the lives of all those he encountered is immeasurable. He will be greatly missed by our coaches, mentors, and students whose lives he positively influenced.

Calling hours will be held at Rossi Brother and Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman on Friday May 29th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

So thankful for the continued support of our community and Mike & Dee Kempe who have been supporting us for 20 years and through all three of their childrens’ years as RoboCats

What an exciting night at GHS Senior Awards! Michael and I have been involved with the Girard Robotic program for more than 20 years. We are proud to offer a scholarship to a senior team member who is either going to collage or trade school. This year winner is Elijah Gatto who will be attending YSU for engineering. We wish him success and look forward to see where this life is going to take him. Congratulations to all scholarship winners! What an amazing class of 2026!

We were truly thrilled by this opportunity and the invitation extended to us today; it allowed us to showcase the extent of our season's efforts and engage with the community that consistently supports us in all our endeavors. Our appreciation and gratitude go to the Girard Multi-Generational Center for a delightful afternoon.

Officially signing off from the Miami Valley Regional, its an end of an AGE. We're grateful for our team, our mentors, and everyone who cheered us on. We are so proud of them, the late nights, the problem-solving, and the memories. Along the way we found out that each one of us is a brain, an athlete, a basketcase, a princess, and we're always 379.
