Hello Brown County, Indiana! I am Gabriel “The Education Man” Mensah. I am so excited because I will be in your neighborhood this summer sharing educational material with families in their homes as part of my summer internship with Southwestern Advantage.
We offer books, apps, and programs that spark an early interest in learning, give students an edge on homework and college prep, and develop your child’s life and leadership skills.
Southwestern Advantage is an entrepreneurial internship program and single level marketing company that allows me to run my own business selling educational materials with families in their homes. I chose to participate in this program so I could help families navigate the challenges and stresses of homework and learning at home as well as develop my communication skills. As a Junior at Norfolk State University, this experience is invaluable to my resume and professional growth.
I am not associated with any school districts and have contacted the local sheriff's office and city hall to obtain the necessary paperwork and permits for selling educational materials in Brown County.
