Invest in Your People
At Midwest Misfits Training, LLC, we are committed to continuous learning and professional development. Although we are already a Paratech Approved Training Agency, we recently sent two of our instructors to Paratech University in Toledo, Ohio to attend further training: one of our lead instructors (Ben Bolte) and a future instructor (Reid Thompson) currently undergoing mentorship. We believe in the adage, “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room.”
Strategies and tactics are constantly evolving, making it essential to pursue ongoing education and learn from diverse experiences within the fire service. We often observe training agencies whose instructors cease taking classes, believing they possess all necessary knowledge. We encourage you to inquire about the last time your instructors attended a class.
We advocate for surrounding ourselves with individuals who inspire growth and improvement. We live by the fundamental principle of the Fire Service: “Don’t just be on the job; be INTO THE JOB.”
