Join the choirs of Christopher High School and South Valley Middle School for their debut concert of the 2022-2023 season! This family friendly event will feature a diverse program of music celebrating dance and movement.

The fun all begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, 10/4 at *Gilroy High School's Student Center.* General admission is $5 and doors will open at 6:30 pm.

We hope you'll join us for the South Valley Middle School Open House, tomorrow, Saturday, September 10, from 10 am-12 pm. GUSD staff will be leading brief tours of the completed first phase of the project. This is a great opportunity to learn about the construction progress, visit classrooms, and see the famouse Tiger Paw quad.! We'll have refreshments too. This event is free to attend and all are welcome! See you tomorrow! 🐯 💚

The Gilroy community is invited visit the South Valley Middle School campus on Saturday, September 10, from 10 am-12 pm. GUSD staff will provide walking tours of the completed first phase of the new campus project.

Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP is necessary. Visitors can enter campus at 7881 Murray Avenue at the new entrance to school (around the corner from the original entrance).

Congratulations to South Valley Middle School teacher, Yesenia Campuzano, for receiving the 2022 Civics Leadership Award from the Santa Clara County Office of Education. This award, sponsored by Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union, is awarded to a Santa Clara County public school educator who inspires students to enjoy and excel in the arts, civics, and STEM. Congratulations Ms. Campuzano! We are proud of you!

SVMS parents of 7th and 8th grade students-- if your child still needs a Tdap shot, the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health is offering a free clinic on Tuesday, September 28, from 3-7 pm at San Ysidro Park.
