The Gilroy Unified School District is partnering with the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department to host a vaccine clinic at Eliot on Wednesday, December 1, from 3-7:30 pm.

Pfizer vaccines (first and second doses and boosters) are available to anyone eligible for the vaccine, age 5 and older, with a signed parent consent form. Children ages 5-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to receive a vaccine at any clinic taking place on any GUSD campus. All students and their families are welcome regardless of immigration status. Health insurance is not required. Staff will be available to answer your questions in your preferred language.

There will be no food service at Eliot on Friday, September 18 as campus is closed. Please pick up meals for everyday through Monday morning for Gilroy children 0-18 today from 12-2 pm.

There is no meal service at any GUSD school site on Friday, September 18 as our district staff participates in staff development and training. Families who pick up meals on Thursday, September 17 will receive meal bags that will include the following:

Thursday lunch & supper
Friday breakfast, lunch & supper
Saturday breakfast & lunch
Sunday breakfast & lunch
Monday breakfast

Eliot Elementary School, Glen View Elementary, Ascencion Solorsano Middle School, and South Valley Middle School, will distribute food from 12-2 pm on Thursday and Rucker Elementary School will distribute food from 10:30-11:30 am.

In addition, Luigi Aprea will provide normal meal service from 9:00 am-2:00 pm on Thursday, which includes lunch for the day of and breakfast for Friday morning. Meals served at Luigi will be charged based on application status.

Congratulations Eliot Lions!

Congratulations to the staff and students at Eliot Elementary School for being recognized by the California PBIS Coalition as a "Community Cares" school!

The CPC believes it is important to reflect on and share the positive experiences districts, schools, and educators have delivered to students and communities during these challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic.

To honor the positive impacts schools are playing in the lives of California’s students, families, and communities, the CPC would like to recognize all schools that are providing services and supports during these challenging times.
