Happy Monday. I was just thinking - last week was Teacher Appreciation Week. I received notes, cards, drawings, lunch, sweet treats, flowers, and cash to treat myself.

I am so grateful God has blessed me with strength physically and mentally to continue teaching my “Little Learners”. It makes me smile when my 3’s and 4’s recognize a letter or number or their name.

If you have children or grandchildren in school and did not send a ”Thank You” note or gift it is NOT TOO LATE. Teachers work hard and long hours beyond the school hours. They deal with ALOT of personalities- easy and the NOT so easy ones. Think of parents and grandparents who were with the children doing online learning with new teaching/learning strategies on Zoom. How many codes and passwords were needed? How much patience was necessary? How easy was it? IT WAS NOT EASY!!!

It was NOT EASY at home with 1, 2, 3, or 4 kids. It is NOT EASY with 20 or 30 in a class.

Reach out to teachers, tell them THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO! Send a card and a treat or a gift card of any amount because teachers shop at WalMart, Target, grocery stores, and they eat too.

All February decorations are down. Now anxiously waiting to put up Spring/Easter decorations. The children and I enjoy them all.
