Yesterday, we had our official change of command ceremony, in which the leadership opf the corps was passed from C/Colonel Andrew Smith, to C/Captain Liam Phipps. We congratulate C/Col Smith on all his accomplishments this past school year and wish good luck to C/Cap Phipps as he takes the second half of the school year!!!!

We would also like to say thank you to some of our cadets grandparents at Tele's for providing food at no charge for our students after the competition!! A bird? A plane? NO!! Its an arrow from Gilmer AFJROTC Archery team!!! Cadets went off to compete last friday at Harelton against multiple other grade levels!! Along with that it was their very first time shooting at 3D Targets and they shoot perfectly!!! (press on post to see more pictures via Instagram)

Not even a little rain stops us from going out and looking good!! Last Saturday, 4 of our cadets had the honor of leading the Gilmer Tx Yule fest parade, they had some fun before they marched out. They kept a strong bearing and good pace even with the rain starting to come down on them!!!!
