🍀 What an incredible night for our Lighthouse Legends 4-H Club!
Tonight at the Upshur County 4-H End-of-Year Awards Ceremony, we joined 4-H members, families, and leaders from across Upshur county to celebrate a year filled with hard work, dedication, leadership, and accomplishments.
We are honored to have earned the designation of Texas 4-H Champion School. Champion School is more than an award, it’s a recognition that a school has intentionally built a thriving 4-H program by encouraging student involvement, developing leadership, promoting community service, and creating opportunities for students to grow through agriculture, citizenship, and hands-on learning throughout the year. This designation reflects the commitment of our students, families, teachers, and supporters who have made 4-H an important part of our school culture.
Our club was also named Outstanding Club of the Year! This honor recognizes the impact our club has made through service, participation and leadership.
We also couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our incredible Ag teacher, Traci Dudley, who was named Rookie Adult Leader of the Year. In just her first year, she has invested countless hours into our students and has helped build a program that is already making a tremendous impact. This recognition is so well deserved, and we are thankful for her passion, leadership, and heart for our kids.
Congratulations to all of our 4H students for an amazing year, we can’t wait to see what this next year holds!
