We are proud to have earned the title of 4-H Champion School! 🍀 We love seeing our LCA students grow through the hands-on learning, leadership, agriculture, and service opportunities 4-H provides. We’re excited to celebrate National 4-H Week and keep building students who are Beyond Ready! 🍀

Our Champion school Lighthouse Christian Academy helped up bring our National 4-H week proclamation to the Commissioner's Court yesterday morning! These kids will be 'Beyond Ready' 🍀

🌸 Congratulations to our 4-H Floral Team! 🌸

This weekend, our team competed in the East Texas State Fair Floral Contest, and we are so proud of them! Their arrangements were beautiful, and we love seeing their creativity and skills continue to grow.

A special congratulations to Peyton for making the Top 10 and advancing to the finals.

We can’t wait to see what they create at the next contest! 💐

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming some wonderful ladies from Grace Baptist Church representing Operation Christmas Child as our special chapel guests! They shared with our students all about OCC, how a simple shoebox can travel around the world, and how each box becomes an opportunity to show a child the love of Jesus and share the Gospel.

After chapel, our students had an OCC Packing Party, where every student had the opportunity to pack a shoebox filled with gifts for a child somewhere around the world.

A few toys, school supplies, and simple gifts may not seem like much, but when they are given with love and used to point someone to Jesus, they can have an impact far beyond what we can see.

A huge THANK YOU to the OCC ladies who came and shared with our students and helped make today so special!

Our school and host church have the privilege of supporting a church and ministry in Belize that is making a difference in the lives of children and families. Part of that ministry includes helping provide for students’ education by paying for their schooling and the supplies they need.

One way our students were able to be part of this mission was by providing backpacks for students in Belize. Each backpack represents one of our students blessing another student.

We pray these backpacks will be a blessing and a reminder to our students that God can use each of us to make a difference, whether across the street or across the world.

This morning some of our students gathered together for See You at the Pole, joining students across the nation in prayer.

We are thankful for students who are willing to pause, stand together, and pray for their school, their friends, their teachers, their families, and their community.
