Exciting news about our new program this year... Warrior SPECIALS!

I am so excited to announce that after spending many weeks searching for the perfect curriculum & creating a schedule that allows our students to work with their age appropriate peers and skills, our students will rotate through one 30 minute art, music, and P.E class each week! *Middle grades will rotate through 1 art class and 2 P.E classes.

What grade levels will rotate together during specials?
Art: Kindergarten & 1st, 2nd & 3rd, 4th-middle grades
Music: Kindergarten-2nd, 3rd-5th
P.E: Kindergarten-2nd, 3rd-5th, middle grades

What skills will my child be learning during specials?
Art: Kindergarten-3rd grade will spend the year learning about famous artists and creating work that aligns with their particular style. 4th-8th grade will create a variety of art projects including but not limited to clay, color theory, portraits, watercolor, and more.

Music: Kindergarten-2nd grade will learn to use Boomwhackers, musical shakers, and practice for our programs throughout the year. 3rd-5th grade will learn to play the recorder and practice for our programs throughout the year.

P.E: All students will follow our PE curriculum and participate in differentiated games and exercises using bean bags, hula hoops, long and short jump ropes, scooter boards, parachutes, yoga, and more.
