Someone shared this with me, so I’m sharing with you. It’s a great demonstration as to why science isn’t as simple and concrete as many of us want it to be, especially when taught for answering tests in school. Science is a method and tool. It is simple, but not a rigid bank of answers.

Check out this bit of local science. I think fragments from the initial impact site are on display in Hill City, SD at the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research. I haven’t verified that yet, but they have a wonderful collection of meteorites including local impacts.
