After receiving the 2026 Oedekoven Award for their work, authors Paul Szwed, Matthew Rooks, and Greg Sholdt presented their award-winning paper, Beyond Borders: Cultivating Affective Competence for Global Business Leadership, at a seminar hosted by the International Marine Research Center at Kobe University in Japan.

How to go about it?

➡️ At the end of each academic period, reflect on the learning outcomes. Were they achievable? Did they effectively guide teaching and assessment?

➡️ Gather feedback from students and peers. Are there areas that could be more clearly defined or updated?

➡️ Make necessary changes. Whether refining an existing outcome, removing an outdated one, or adding a new one, be proactive in keeping your course and program outcomes fresh, impactful, and measurable.

Yesterday, some of the Peregrine team spent some time with the Edible Prairie Project, playing a part with their Summer Weekend Meals for Kids program!

This program provides bags with healthy snacks and meals for kids over the summer to help keep them healthy during the summer break, helping serve more than 200 children each week.
