We are a preschool on purpose. Come as you are and become the person God created you to be. Philosophy
As we seek Jesus, we seek truth.
Vision Statement
In partnership with parents and the local church, New Life Christian School (NLCS) provides excellent, Christ-centered education in a loving, safe, and fun environment. The instruction provided will aid children in cognitive, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Educational Goals
We strive to help students enjoy school and begin a journey of life-long learning.
We will lead children toward successful entry into kindergarten by nurturing enthusiasm about learning in a classroom, teaching students to be self-disciplined and accountable for their actions, equipping students with the necessary skills to become decision makers and problem solvers, and challenging them to high standards of achievement. Using the Fruit of the Spirit as our guide, children will learn lifelong values and the importance of Godly character. With a traditional approach to teaching and learning, cross-subject integration, and plenty of hands-on learning, New Life Christian School will build build solid foundation on truth. We will help all students to reach their full potential regardless of ability, physical appearance, and culture. Leadership
New Life Christian School employs instructors who have a solid relationship with Jesus Christ, love children, and exceed the educational standards required by the State of Wyoming. Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all men and women who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe God begins the process of making us holy when we receive new life in Christ. We believe in the Bible and seek to establish our faith and actions on its teaching. We believe God wants all people to know Him and to become the people God created them to be. We believe the purpose of the Church is to tell the world about Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.

I call this set up "loose parts crafts." Its really just a modge podge of supplies I pull out. I try and get new materials every month they've never used before.
I set it out and let them go to town!
I am currently taking a class on Crafts and the difference between process and product art.
Process art- I provide the materials and they guide what they make and learn in the process.
Product- i provide an example with an "end product" and everyone makes variations of the same craft. No creative freedom and not much learning involved. Not child led.
I have never enjoyed "product art" and have really been enjoying stepping back from it and allowing them to do more "process art."
We still do some cute product art, but it's definitely not an every day thing! This is allowing more space to be more "play based" as well.

I love love love switching out the room every month! It is so much fun putting things out that I know they'll enjoy. And every year the room looks different because my kids enjoy different things!
Another thing I enjoy doing is making sure that when I switch out the room that the color and shape of the month are EVERY WHERE. They love pointing it out to me when they notice it!
