Marissa is the Wisconsin Kids Folkstyle State Champion 2026! 🎉 She was in a 24 woman bracket. Marissa tech one of her opponents and pinned the other three!!! This will be Marissa’s fourth Folkstyle state title!
Marissa would like to thank all her coaches and teammates from Aviators and Gillett/Suring.
Marissa was thinking about her good friend Cameron’s favorite wrestling move as she wrestled and was able to put the butcher in for him ❤️

In Remembrance of Cameron Wagner

Cameron Wagner was more than just a wrestler at Aviators, he was a teammate, a competitor, and a young man who left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.
On the mat, Cameron represented everything the sport of wrestling is built on in grit, resilience, and heart. He showed up ready to work, pushed through challenges, and never backed down from a fight. He wore his heart on his sleeve every time he stepped into the room, and that passion was something you couldn’t miss.
Off the mat, Cameron’s impact went even deeper. He was always smiling, always joking around, and more often than not with a new joke ready to tell. He had a way of lightening up the room, bringing energy, and making people feel comfortable just being around him. He wasn’t just part of the team, he helped define the spirit of it.
At Aviators, we talk about building more than just wrestlers, we build character, toughness, and lifelong bonds. Cameron embodied those values. He cared deeply, competed fiercely, and lived in a way that made others better.
We will remember his smile.
We will remember the laughter he brought into the room.
Cameron will always be part of the Aviators family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wagner family, his friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.
Rest easy, Cameron. You will never be forgotten.

Congratulations Josie on your 6th place finish out of 24 girls! She wrestled hard and against some tough girls. We are proud of her for finishing each of her matches and having excellent sportsmanship!

Everett is the Champion for Wisconsin Kids State Championships 2026!!! 🎉 He was in a 24 man bracket and the opponents he wrestled he tech them all by the second period. No one had any earned points on Everett. The only points his opponents scored were points that Everett had given by letting them go.
This will be Everett’s last year for kids state. In the five years that Everett attempted to make it to state he was able to bring home one runner up and 4 state championships titles!!!
Thank you to his friend and teammate Issac who came for the day to sit mat side with Everett.
Everett put his opponents in the butcher and chose to tech them because these were his good friend Cameron’s favorites in wrestling ❤️
