Globetrotters,
In June of 2026, we will be leading an educational, adventure tour of Costa Rica, and we would like to extend an invitation to students enrolled in 6-12 grade during the 2024-2025 school year. The specific details of the itinerary are still being finalized, but some of the activities include snorkeling, zip-lining through the rainforest, a canopy hike, kayaking, and hot springs!
We will be hosting an informational meeting for parents and students that will include more detailed information about the itinerary, tour dates, and the cost on Tuesday, August 27th at 6:00 at Gillespie Middle School, room 15.

Pretty proud of my Photography students! Sydney Wilson earned a Gold Key for her submission of "Driving to Dreams" in the Scholastic Art & Writing competition. Because it is a Gold Key, Sydney will automatically be entered into the National Competition!

Madison Durston also earned an Honorable Mention for her submission of "The Road Ahead."

Both pieces of art will be on display at the Springfield Art Association from February 4 to February 22, 2024.

School Pictures are scheduled for October 19 with retakes scheduled for December 7. Order forms were sent home with all 3 grade levels today and I will send a reminder out next week. Please share this so everyone sees it :)
