Mountain Road Child Care Est. in 2001 MRCC is a MA lic large family day care located in Gill. MRCC offers a preschool enriche We are licensed for ten children with two adults.

Mountain Road Child Care is a MA licensed large family day care. Our meals and snacks are included in our rates. We have daily projects that involve all ages of children. MRCC is located in Gill we have a big beautiful outside space for the children to play. It is surrounded by nature complete with a sledding hill in the winter and a flower garden in the summer, that attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

Fun things are always happening at Mountain Road Child Care. We had our annual Easter egg hunt with the children and their families. Also the children’s art work is being displayed at The Counrty Creemee in Turners Falls.

Today we went on a field trip at the FRTA. We were able to use bus tickets and go for a ride around town. We also watch a saftey video which showed how dogs are used to help keep the trains and the bus station safe. We want to thank Tina, Amy and Molly from the FRTA also Rob from Amtrak, we love our goodie bags! Thanks so much this field trip was the perfect combination of education and fun.

Our focus this week was on the letter "G". Letter bags are due back on Friday. We started our garden, decorated gingerbread people and painted with the color green. We will go to indoor action on Friday unless it snows.

Today we had fun doing a hands on experiment. We put one egg in water and another in a cup of cola. The children were able to see how stained the egg in cola was, representing what happens to our teeth when we drink cola. All the children had fun brushing the egg until it was clean again.
