On October 8, Aaron Chambers spoke with our Gifted and Talented (GT) students about the craft of writing and what it takes to become an author. Students explored important elements of storytelling, including character development and plot development, gaining valuable insight into how authors bring their stories to life.

Thank you to Aaron Chambers for sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion for writing with our students! Opportunities like these inspire creativity, strengthen critical thinking, and encourage our students to explore their own storytelling potential.

Homecoming Week Is Underway at VHS!

Homecoming festivities kicked off Wednesday night with our annual Powder Puff game! The Juniors and Seniors battled it out in an epic defensive showdown that will go down in Valley High School history. Both teams brought the intensity, but in the end, the Juniors emerged victorious!

Congratulations to our Juniors, and a big thank-you to everyone who came out to support this great VHS tradition in the cold rain!

The fun continues Friday night! Join us for our annual Pig Roast followed by the Valley Vikings football game! Come enjoy some great food, connect with our Viking community, and cheer on our team under the Friday night lights.

Let’s pack the stands and show our Viking pride!

Go Vikings!

Building Leaders at VHS!

This week, our FBLA members attended the Fall Leadership Conference at the Embassy Suites in Loveland!

Students participated in engaging sessions with keynote speaker Kyle Willkom of Action-Packed Leadership, as well as sessions led by FBLA and DECA state officers. Topics included leadership, service, social capital, social media, fundraising, and the importance of being an active member.

Our students also had the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and network with fellow members from across Colorado while developing the skills necessary for future success in the classroom, the workplace, and their communities.

We are proud of our Vikings for investing in their leadership development and representing Valley High School! Honor, Wisdom, Loyalty!

We are so grateful to our local firefighters for taking the time to invest in our school community and keep our kids safe, informed, and prepared!🚨🏠✨
