Reminder this weeks game is tomorrow 11/2 at 7 PM vs #1 ranked Winfield Mount-Union for a trip to the UNI Dome! This weeks sword winner and recent UNI commit is Kyler Knaack with 11 total tackles and a fumble recovery.

1st round playoff sword award winner was Kyler Knaack. Kyler had 11 total tackles, 2 TFLs and an interception. 2nd round is at 7 PM at home Friday vs #10 ranked WACO hope to see everyone there!

On Senior night Senior Andrew Kimball won the sword award with 3 tackles and an interception for a touchdown. The Dons posted their 3rd shut out of the season to complete district play undefeated.

Friday is first round playoffs vs 6-2 Edgewood-Colesburg at home at 7 PM!

Due to weather they are moving tonight’s game up to 6pm. Senior night will be starting at 5:45.

Friday night is senior night come out and support everything this group has done in 4 years for the school and community!

This weeks Sword Award winner is David Schmitz. David had 10 total tackles and a pass deflection. Congrats to David who put in a ton of hard work in the off-season and has been an impact player for us this year!

Homecoming’s sword winner is Andrew Kimball for the second time. Andrew had 5 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a fumble recovery. While the defense posted a second straight shut-out and allowed a total of -14 yards!

Kyler was upset his photo didn’t include the sword so here is a picture of both of them. I tried to talk them into Step Brothers style but surprisingly they didn’t listen.

Next game is Friday at 7 PM vs Turkey Valley!

Week two’s sword winner is Andrew Kimball. Andrew had 7 total tackles, 2 sacks and 4 TFL’s. Reminder this weeks game is at home on Thursday at 7 PM vs Riceville for our first district game!

This year we decided to start the golden sword award on defense. Each week the player that gets the most points will get a sword sticker to add to their helmet. Also at the end of the year the athlete with the most points will get their name on plaque next to the sword to be on display at the school. Week 1’s award winner is Landon Fernandez

Football season is approaching quickly. Few Dates than are important. Football camp will start August 4 and run through August 6th. August 4th and 5th will be from 5:30pm to 8pm. August 6th will be from 9am to 11:30am. Camp Cost will be $40. Camp will be held at Don Bosco Football Field. I will have a Camp Registration Form on Bosco Website. There will also be a parent meeting Sunday July 24 at 4pm at St. Mary's Center. Regular practice will start the 8th of August at 3:30pm. If you have any question feel free to call me at 319-290-0215.
