Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for my students who are on this journey with me. Their creativity, thoughtfulness, perseverance, and tenacity is inspiring. Don't forget our black and orange school-wide spirit day today! We will also be having our special snacks during our snack/mask break (students brought a bag home Monday to bring their snack back in - any other bag would also work). As per the school school rules, students are never allowed to bring any food to school to share with classmates.

3rd grade has been super busy since school began! Last week we learned about viruses, washing our hands and sneezing. Ask your student how far a sneeze travels and how we proved why soap and hot water is important. We also reviewed our basic fundations skills, readers and writers workshop expectations, and began cursive!! In math, we focused a lot on how we learn as mathematicians and now we are ready to begin learning multiplication! There are so many exciting things going on!
