Desert Hills High School offers classes four days a week, Monday - Thursday with flex or supplemental classes on Friday. We are a small campus catering to a student body of approximately 200. We offer several different programs and opportunities to meet the needs of our students including credit recovery for students that may have a need to recovery lost credits. Partnering with the East Valley Community, we support students career opportunities along with their academic courses.

🌅 Senior Sunrise 2026! 🐾💙Desert Hills’ seniors came together recently at the beautiful Gilbert Riparian Preserve to celebrate Senior Sunrise - one of the first special moments of their final year at DHHS!
It was a morning of friendship, laughter, reflection and making memories as the sun came up on what promises to be an unforgettable senior year. ☀️
Here’s to the Class of 2027 and all the adventures, milestones and memories still ahead. Your senior year has officially begun!

Our Cougars have been having a great time showing their creativity and DHHS pride during spirit days, with our most recent celebration bringing a little Disney magic to campus for Disney Day! From favorite characters and classic movies to wild and crazy hats, our students and staff make spirit days fun. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Through EVIT, Desert Hills students such as Isabella A., in the Veterinary Technician Program, pictured here, have the opportunity to explore exciting career pathways, develop real-world skills, earn industry certifications and prepare for successful futures in college, careers and beyond.

From healthcare and culinary arts to automotive technology, construction, cosmetology, aviation, digital media and so much more, EVIT gives our students another way to discover their passions and turn them into possibilities.

🌅 Seniors — Get Ready for Senior Sunrise!

The Class of 2027 will kick off its senior year with one of our first campus events, Senior Sunrise, on Saturday, August 29! Senior Sunrise is a chance for our seniors to come together, celebrate the beginning of their final year of high school, make memories with their classmates and look ahead to everything their senior year will bring. This is only the beginning of the special activities we have planned for the Class of 2027.

🇯🇵 Japan 2027 — An Adventure of a Lifetime!

We are already looking ahead to next summer and our Desert Hills student trip to Japan!

Our students will have an incredible opportunity to experience Japan’s history, culture, food, landmarks and traditions while seeing firsthand a part of the world they have learned about in the classroom. International travel can be a life-changing educational experience, and we are excited to once again give Desert Hills students the opportunity to learn beyond the walls of our school.
