Gilbert Adult Learning Program

On Friday, we celebrated the incredible achievements of our amazing students at this year's graduation ceremony! 🎓✨

We are so proud to announce that 44 students earned their HSE diplomas this year, with 32 walking in the ceremony. We also inducted 14 students into the National Adult Education Honor Society for their stellar academic dedication!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your hard work and perseverance have paid off, and we can’t wait to see your continued success. 🌟

A huge thank you to the Gilbert High School student groups who helped make the day extra special: the Air Force Junior ROTC for presenting the colors, and the Advanced Vocal Ensemble for singing the National Anthem. We appreciate your amazing support!

This morning we had the honor of hosting students on campus for COABE Student Ambassador Training, facilitated by Coalition of Adult Basic Education (COABE) and the Arizona Association for Lifelong Learning (AALL). 💙 Our first cohort of student leaders is now officially trained. 🎉🎓

It was so inspiring to see the leadership and hear the voices that emerged from this group. We look forward to extending this opportunity to more interested students in the near future!!! 🗣️🌟🤝📣

Look who stopped by!!! 👋🎉 Dylan, one of our 2025 HSE graduates, dropped by campus today to say hi and share what he’s been up to. We are so proud of him! He’s getting ready to start his Medical Assistant externship, with graduation on the horizon later this year. 🩺👏

Our English Language Enrichment and Foundations of English classes teamed up for Meet & Speak Rotation, an interactive activity where students practiced dialogue, speaking, and listening while meeting classmates. So much fun and lots of English practice!!! 🎉🗣️👂🤝

Milestones matter! 🚀 Our para-professional prep students completed an important step toward certification by being fingerprinted on campus today for their AZDPS IVP fingerprint clearance cards 👍. Full steam ahead toward careers in the classroom!! Special shout-out to Community Wellness & Safety of Arizona for their mobile fingerprinting service, making the process quick and easy. 🎉

Our Applied Literacy & Communications class is proudly partnering with AZCEND to collect toys for kids in our community! We’re so excited to support this amazing cause.
