Today was our first PRIDES meeting for the year! Students spent time welcoming new members and doing ice breakers, being risk takers, and working on their banners/essential agreements. So many smiles today!

Half days for students means teachers learning in the afternoon. Teachers worked on our IB professional development plan, discussing communication skills. Then the other half the day was spent working on improving students reading fluency. Thank you to Mrs Dunnett, Mrs Harmon, and Mrs Laszlo for planning such a great day. Thank you to our amazing staff for being engaged and always looking to improve!

Today first grade had a visit from Helen's Hope Chest to kick off their clothing drive that starts next week. This clothing drive is part of the Who We Are unit where they learn about their rights and responsibilities within our community.
