Students are about to start attending school again. Many seniors who are planning on attending four year colleges and universities should be completing their applications now or as soon as possible. If you are a person who wants to start college in a couple of weeks, it may be possible. Reach out to the admissions office of the college you want to attend to see what you need to do. Not know what you want to do for a career should not stop you are starting school. It is important to be exposed to new opportunities and college is often a great place for this to happen.

Many of us dream of changing from our current occupation and doing something else, but doing so can bring a lot of unknowns. When I set out to meet with middle school, high school and college aged students, I never imagined that I would mostly be seeing their parents. I shouldn't have been shocked, it felt like 70% of my day (at least) as a school counselor was spent communicating with parents.
