Our little friends got to play with our big friends today when there’s no school. Another weather perfect day outside. (The calm before the storm.) Y’all stay safe out there this weekend. 🙂

A child has tested POSITIVE for COVID in our 2s class, however everyone should watch for symptoms because children of all ages are all together in the early mornings and late afternoons before all teachers get in and after teachers have to leave for the day. (They can’t all work 10-12 hour days every day.) We’re cleaning and disinfecting both centers as a precaution and making you all aware the second we found out. DSS and DHEC’s rule is out for 5 days after a positive test. Thanks for everyone’s cooperation to help stop it from spreading. 🦠

In addition to our visit with the fire truck this morning, we also had some fun carnival games for the kids to play and win prizes with THANKS to Ms. Deedee and Mack with C&M Amusement. Check out their website if you or your company needs help with your company picnics. They can supply everything you need. The kids enjoyed a ball toss game, a splat paint activity that made the prettiest little piece of art, and cotton candy which they absolutely LOVED! Thank you for thinking of the kids Deedee. 🫟 ⚽️ 🍬

HUGE THANKS to our local Lexington County Firefighters for spending their morning with us teaching the kids about fire safety. “Get out and stay out. Call 911. Stop, drop, and roll.” And showing them that they’re the same friendly helpers whether they’re in their gear or not. Run to the firefighter, not away from them. Thanks guys, as always everyone enjoyed it! 🚒 🔥🧑🏻‍🚒
