What are we actually voting on Thursday? 👀

The proposed 2026 CRRE PTSO bylaws focus on three key areas:
👥 Membership + Voting
🤝 Governance
💰 Funding + Accountability

As a 501(c)(3) parent-led volunteer organization, CRRE PTSO operates in accordance with guidelines established by VNET, the Gilbert Public Schools Volunteer Network. Our current bylaws were written using earlier VNET guidance, and those guidelines have evolved over the years. The proposed updates bring our bylaws in line with the most current VNET guidelines while creating a clearer framework for our organization moving forward.

Most importantly, we want our CRRE community to feel informed and confident about what is being proposed. We encourage you to review the bylaws, ask questions, and join us for Thursday’s vote. 🐾

Why are we proposing updates to the CRRE PTSO bylaws? 📚
Our goal is simple: to create clearer, more consistent guidelines that support transparency, accountability, and strong governance for our PTSO.

The proposed 2026 bylaws focus on three key areas:
1️⃣ Membership + Voting
Creating a clearer structure for membership and voting eligibility.
2️⃣ Officer Eligibility + Governance
Adding safeguards that help reduce potential conflicts and create greater consistency from one board to the next.
3️⃣ Funding + Accountability
Defining funding categories more clearly so PTSO spending is easier to track, understand, and manage responsibly.

We want our CRRE community to feel informed, included, and confident in this process.

📖 Review the full proposed bylaws:
Visit www.crreptso.org and select Parent Resources then Bylaws.
🗳️ Voting will take place August 27th at 6pm in the library.
Be sure to check our Stories today for the registration link to participate and cast your vote on the proposed updates. Have questions? We welcome them and encourage our community to learn more before voting.💬

Our nurse’s office is collecting a few everyday essentials to help keep our Coyotes comfortable, cared for, and ready to get back to their day.💚💜🐺
We’re currently in need of:
🍎 Individually wrapped granola bars, must be approved by the Arizona Healthy Kids Act
🧦 New socks — all sizes
🤍 New underwear — all sizes
Even the smallest donation can make a BIG difference for a student who needs a snack, or a clean change of clothes during the school day.
Thank you for always showing up for our Coyotes! 🐾
