A relapse plan is an essential recovery tool for any person healing from betrayal trauma because it allows a wife to respond to a relapse versus react. Planning for something we all hope will never happen offers a woman the space to think, identify her needs, and lay out steps to meet those needs.

Join Us: February 15th, March 1st, and March 15th from 11 AM -1 PM EST.

Feeling super grateful. Five-star reviews like mean so much—not just because of the rating, but because Determined For More is doing exactly what I hoped it would: impacting hearts and offering hope. 🤍

Sharing my story with raw vulnerability wasn’t easy, but knowing it’s resonating with readers in a deep and meaningful way makes it all worth it. Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for walking this journey together. We truly believe that knowing others can relate brings healing!

Broken doesn’t mean discarded. Just like the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold, our hearts can be restored—stronger, more beautiful, and more valuable than before. A reminder that healing is possible, that scars tell a story of redemption, and that beauty can come from the hardest seasons. 🤍 Keep walking. Keep believing. God’s not finished yet.

If this speaks to you, drop a 🤍 in the comments.

This has been quite a year for us at Living Stones and we couldn’t have done it without the love and care of Jesus by our side.

It has been an honor to come along so many and bring the book into the world. We hope you have a peaceful and joy filled day today!! Merry Christmas!

With Love, Shawna & Kevin ♥️

I had the honor of sitting down with Dr. Carol for a powerful conversation about the hard realities of marriage, betrayal, neurodiversity, and emotional deprivation. I shared my personal journey—what helped me stay, and stay sane, through it all.

Whether you’ve chosen to stay or take a different path, I hope this conversation brings you validation and encouragement as you walk through your own story. 🩵

Continuing our discussion on communication, in this episode, we look at the receptive side and how we receive what is being shared with us.

Also, for those with neurodiversity, understanding that being a ‘good listener’ requires skill and work, we look at some tools that can be used to ensure we are not just listening to our partner, but truly hearing what they are saying.

Looking as well at how different types of feedback are received, we discuss how an effective ‘redo’ can allow couples to move past a negative communication cycle, and provide the opportunity to remain connected and keep the conversation moving forward.

On our website at https://www.livingstonescoaching.com, you will find information about the upcoming workshops we discuss and other resources to support you as you navigate your journey through the intersection of sexual integrity and neurodiversity.

Continuing in our series, this second episode dives into one of the most important foundational building blocks necessary for restoration – relational safety.

For many, this may be a new concept that has been missing in the relationship, and for others, this may be the agreed upon next step in establishing a basis for building trust with a partner after a sexual or non-sexual breech of trust.

Listeners join us as we share the growth that can come through developing a healthy proactive relational safety plan.

On our website LivingStonesCoaching.com, you will find information about the upcoming workshops we discuss, the relational safety plan pdf document and other resources to support you as you navigate your journey through the intersection of sexual integrity and neurodiversity.

We’d love for you to LIKE and FOLLOW our podcast series, and if you'd also consider giving us feedback through a rating/review of this episode that would help it reach more people.
