⭐ Congratulations to our August Gold Star Winners. Each month, one student from every grade level is selected by their peers and teachers for consistently exhibiting excellence in and out of the classroom. Throughout August, these students demonstrated outstanding character, leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to doing their best every day.

This month's winners are Tilly A. (k), Ezra C. (1), Camden R. (2), Scarlett R. (3), Caiden H. (4), Leandro C. (5), Livy K. (6), and Lucas B. (Specials)!

Mrs. Gonzales’s 2nd graders brought their CKLA learning to life with exciting culminating activities that celebrated all they’ve learned! Students enjoyed delicious mini flapjacks and showcased their creativity through imaginative inventions inspired by the fairy tales and tall tales they’ve been exploring. What a fun and memorable way to wrap up their learning adventure! 🏰💡📖✨

Fourth graders in Mrs. Shepard’s and Mrs. Brockett’s classes celebrated completing their first CKLA unit with STEM challenges inspired by Small Steps! From building leg braces for a stuffed animal to creating one-handed LEGO towers and spaghetti towers with setbacks, students experienced empathy, perseverance, and the power of hard work firsthand. 💡💙

Our students in Kinder Prep have had so much fun learning about pets with Ms. Melone & Ms. Milne!🐾 They loved playing in the pet shop, pretending to be vets, and creating fun pet-themed crafts. They also made playdough birds, practiced counting dog bones, and worked on patterns in math. It has been a fun-filled week of learning through play, creativity, and imagination! 🐶🐱🐦💕

Their enthusiasm, confidence, and commitment help ensure that both our students and staff stay informed about everything happening around our school. Whether it's sharing important updates, celebrating achievements, or keeping everyone connected, Livy and Greg consistently do an outstanding job. 🏺 Digging into history! Ms. Green’s 6th graders put their archaeology skills to the test during a hands-on “dig.” By examining artifacts from an ancient civilization (also known as Ms. Green’s childhood 😉), students gathered clues, made observations, and uncovered fascinating facts about their social studies teacher. Learning history has never been so much fun!
