From my daughter, Katrielle:

Hello, my name is Katrielle Jordan! I’m a 15-year-old homeschooler with vocal, acting, and performance experience.

Singing is my passion and teaching young kids how to use their voices in a balanced, healthy way is a dream of mine! Therefore, I have decided to offer a vocal intensive this summer to give kids the opportunity to learn about what makes their voices unique. In this intensive, I will be teaching the basics of vocal anatomy, technique, confidence, and performance. There will be 6 total 45-minute private voice lessons in July with a short voice recital at the end. The voice is a vulnerable, personal part of who you are, and it can be scary to perform. However, because it is so personal, it is such a gift to hear and show the world. This intensive will teach them how to have fun with their voice while also using it properly. Your kids are welcome to bring a song they would like to sing for the recital, and we can work on it together! If they do not have one in mind or would like me to pick one that fits their voice, I will gladly do so! Please contact me for more information, but here is an overview:

-Your child must be between the ages of 6-12
-Tuition is $100 per student for all 6 lessons
(No extra charge for recital)
-Lessons will be held at my house
-Recital end of July-date TBD
-Girls only
-Private lesson schedule is extremely flexible
-Starts in July 2022

What a bright light in a dark time! Our studio is having the BEST experience transferring students to online lessons. Kids are focused, making great progress and having fun! I'm excited because out of this challenging time we have discovered a new tool we will be able to use in the future. We won't have to cancel lessons because of minor illness or transportation conflicts! YAY!
