🚦WE HAVE OUR FIRST GOLDEN TRAFFIC CONE WINNERS!🚦

The secret spies have been watching… 👀🕵️‍♀️
And we are SO excited to announce our very first Golden Traffic Cone winners!

🚦 Mrs. Orlando’s 1st Grade Class
🚦 Mrs. Rader’s 5th Grade Class

These classes have been doing an amazing job showing our RISE expectations in the hallways:
💙 R — Respectful
💙 I — Inclusive
💙 S — Safe
💙 E — Engaged

Every two weeks, our secret spies will be watching for classes that are consistently demonstrating these expectations. One K–2 class and one 3–6 class will earn the Golden Traffic Cone!

The winning classes get to proudly display the Golden Traffic Cone outside their classroom for everyone to see AND choose a special class reward!

Ever wonder why your plants look taller after rain, it is not your imagination, it really happens!

Atmospheric nitrogen is something that is in the air every day. However, this nitrogen is in such a strong bond form that plants can't use it. Lightening provides the extreme heat needed to break those bonds apart. The nitrogen breaks up then mixes with oxygen and form nitrates. Then the rain carries the nitrates to the soil so the roots can absorb them. This whole process is called atmospheric nitrogen fixation.

Our school transformed into the Mushroom Kingdom for Mario Character Dress-Up Day! 🎮❤️ From Mario & Luigi to Princess Peach and everyone in between, our students and staff brought the fun, creativity, and power-up energy! 🌟

Our Mario Madness Fundraiser officially kicks off TODAY, and we couldn’t be more excited! We can’t wait to see everyone’s awesome Mario-themed outfits for our dress-up day and watch those coin thermometers start filling up! 🪙📈

Let’s power up, collect those coins, and SMASH our fundraising goal! Every donation helps keep our amazing garden coordinator position funded while also supporting our incredible teachers and classrooms. 🌱❤️

Mrs. V’s first graders had a blast teaming up with their 5th grade buddies from Mrs. Zylstra’s class for a fun creative challenge! 🎨Everyone started with the exact same set of eyes, but each student let their imagination shine. The results were absolutely adorable, and even better, they had so much fun creating, laughing, and learning together. We love seeing our buddy classes make memories! 💙💛
