🏗️ BIG NEWS, WGA! 🧱

This year’s Check-a-thon is transforming Weinberg Gifted Academy into LEGOLAND Arizona!

And we need our WGA Master Builders to help us build it!

✨ FAMILY BUILDS ARE ENCOURAGED! ✨

Get creative as a family and build something inspired by your grade’s LEGO Land! Builds can be real or imagined, should be at least 50% recycled or repurposed materials, and must be 3 feet tall or smaller, freestanding or ready to hang.

Bring your creations to WGA October 6–9 and help us transform our campus into LEGOLAND Arizona!

Each grade has its own land to bring to life:

🦖 Pre-K — DUPLO Dino Valley
🏙️ Kindergarten — LEGO City Community
🥷 1st Grade — Ninjago
🌴 2nd Grade — Land of Adventure
🏴‍☠️ 3rd Grade — Pirate Shores
🏰 4th Grade — Castle Hill
🚀 5th Grade — LEGO Galaxy
🌈 6th Grade — Land of Imagination

🧱 CHECK-A-THON: OCTOBER 12–23 🧱

Once Check-a-thon begins, our students will be fundraising to help build a better WGA. Every donation gets us one step closer to our goal and one step closer to completing LEGOLAND Arizona!

On Friday, September 18, we’re filling the Teachers Lounge with Rice Crispy Treats to show our amazing WGA teachers a little extra love! 💙💚

Homemade or store-bought — we’d love your help making their day a little sweeter!

Book Fair week kicks off Friday, August 14 with online shopping, followed by our in-person Book Fair Monday, August 17–Friday, August 21! 💙💚

Wondering what day your Wildcat shops? We’ve posted the full class shopping schedule so you can find your child’s teacher and see exactly when their class will visit the fair.
