🌼🌿This year we received funding from the Iowa Farm to School and Early Care Coalition that supported the creation of our new garden! Things are coming together beautifully, thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of our staff, some rockstar families, and the little tigers themselves! This week, the children have been busy moving soil to fill into our raised beds, preparing for what will hopefully be a bountiful harvest.

🌱 Today, we had an exciting visit from Clayton of Clayton Farms! He spent time talking to the tigers about indoor farming and our Choose Iowa food of the month, microgreens! 🚜✨

Clayton brought two kinds of lettuce and fresh pea shoots for the children to harvest and taste test. We had a lot of brave tasters today and some new salad fans! 🥬🌿
