We’re excited to announce that Scottsdale Defense Arts officially begins classes THIS MONDAY - January 19th!

While our permanent studio is under construction, we’ll be training out of our temporary space (Suite 108) in the same shopping center—so there’s no delay in getting started.

Scottsdale Defense Arts is an officially licensed branch of Gilbert Defense Arts, bringing over 20 years of proven martial arts and self-defense instruction!

Our programs includes:

• Muay Thai Kickboxing
• Tai Chi
• Classes for Kids, Teens and Adults

Instructor: Sensei Daniel Goldfarb is taking the lead on this new location as owner/operator. Sensei Daniel has been working with Gilbert Defense Arts over the last few years helping to teach some of our daytime programs and preparing for this role and new opportunity.

With this new location and expansion we have more opportunities to serve now not only the Gilbert community but now the Scottsdale community and surrounding areas! We would GREATLY appreciate any and all help if you have people or contacts you may know in that area looking to begin a journey in the martial arts! We look forward to this new and exciting adventure and seeing his studio grow and working together with future events! If you are ever in that area please stop by, visit, and take a class!!

We hope to be open and offering classes starting Monday, January 19th, 2026 in a temporary location in the center as the new studio construction is underway! We will keep you posted as more develops!

Amazing seminar last night with our honored guests from Shaolin Temple, Masters Yanfang and Yanan. Challenging us both physically and mentally last night as they shared with us the long tradition and history Shaolin Kung Fu. Special thank you to Yanqing Shi from the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center Arizona for bringing us this opportunity. We are grateful for your friendship and guidance in the martial arts. 🙏
