It’s CTE Month, and we are celebrating the power of CTSOs in Gilbert Public Schools! 🎉

CTSOs are also known as Career and Technical Student Organizations. Gilbert Public Schools is proud to be a host for CTSOs such as DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA and SkillsUSA.

- DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management through competitive events and real-world business experiences. 💼

- FBLA inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders through academic competitions, leadership development, and career exploration. 📊

- FCCLA empowers students to address personal, family, and community issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education and leadership opportunities. 📚

- FFA develops students’ potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education. Members gain hands-on experience in areas like animal science, plant systems, agribusiness, and agricultural mechanics. 🌾

- HOSA prepares future health professionals through competitive events, service projects, and leadership experiences focused on the healthcare field. 🩺

- SkillsUSA empowers students to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible citizens through hands-on training and competitions in skilled trades and technical careers. 🔨

These organizations, along with CTE courses, help to prepare students for academic and career success by developing skills in communication, relations, and character.
