Happy New Year! This month we will be learning about the Arctic and Antarctica. Do you know which one is a continent? Polar bear, penguin, hibernation, migration and adaption works are on our science shelves. Lots of new fine motor work too. See you on Monday, January 6.

Wishing our community a holiday season filled with peace, love and joy.

This month we will begin our journey around the world. Our study of South America has begun. Do you know the 12 most common "smells" of South America? We will also learn about Christmas, Kwanza and Hanukkah.

Please join us as we collect much needed items for homeless families and their pets. Sleeping bags, mats for the ground, any type of dog or cat food, Can or dry. Warm hats, mittens and gloves. Toys too or the dogs and cats. Many times the homeless stay out of shelters because they can not take their beloved pets. PLEASE consider helping us help others.

We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Welcome November! This month we will learn about turkeys, Thanksgiving, what it means to be thankful. We will make pumpkin pie, learn about leaves and different types of weather.

This month we will leave Asia and travel to Africa. What is a rainbow? Are the colors always in the same order? What are primary colors? Reduce, reuse, recycle....Earth Day is April 22.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! This month we will celebrate all things Seuss. Cooking projects and theme days. We are learning about the continent of Asia, pandas and elephants. Seed starting is on our botany shelf.

Using our sense of smell we will discover 12 "smells" from the rain forest in test tubes. Close your eyes can you identify them? What are our senses? We have 5. On our science shelf we will learn all about turkeys. What is my plate? Half your plate should be certain food groups. Do you know what they are? As we enter the holiday season we will begin learning about what it means to be thankful. How can we help others?
