Stand Up For Peninsula Schools

Stand Up For Peninsula Schools

I STAND UP for schools.
I shoveled for the kids. You can too. Every vote counts.
I sent a PM - I have a yes ballot that I would love to have be counted please! Thank you.
Thank you Jesse Lee Young for supporting the school bond!
It’s not enough to just WANT the Peninsula School District bond to must also remember to cast your IMPORTANT vote ON TIME!! πŸ’›πŸ–€ In this election, unlike so many others, ALL VOTES COUNT πŸ—³βœ… πŸ‘
We approve this bond!
If you are 40 years old today, the 1st graders in our school system will be out of their residencies and they will likely be your front line doctors when you turn 65 - just in time for you to join Medicare.

If you are 50 today, those same 1st graders may be your primary care physicians when you turn 75.

If you are 60 today, those same 1st graders may be your health specialists as you enter your mid 80s, just when you need them the most.

Think schools don't impact you? How we invest today dictates how we live in the future.

Please vote YES for this school bond to add the capacity we need in our fast growing community.

Two more β€œYES” votes turned in!
2 more YES votes from our house this am.
After reading the proposal on the ballot, can someone explain why it says β€œif necessary, build 2 more schools?”
Ie: If NOT necessary, where will the rest of the bond money go & isn’t all of our Stand Up Propoganda claiming it IS to build 2 new schools?

Concerned voter.
Proud to have just voted in favor of the bond issue! Stand up for our schools and our kids’ futures!

Tell everyone you know to get registered (Jan 14 is the LAST DAY to register!) and vote!

The Artondale Elementary School community came together to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting yesterday! Thank you voters for saying YES to the 2019 bond and making this beautiful school possible. More than 500 guests, including four generations of Artondale Otters, joyfully celebrated wearing awesome custom t-shirts provided by the Artondale PTA. Artondale is the 4th of four elementary schools built in just 3 years!

We celebrated Evergreen Elementary School’s ribbon cutting today! Completed a year ahead of schedule, Evergreen continues to be at the heart of the Key Peninsula community. The new school replaces the eight classroom, 1955 building with 20 spacious classrooms, a library, maker space, music room with stage, full kitchen, a community room and large grass playfields. Dozens of community members provided input on the initial design of the school, and The Longbranch Foundation donated a beautiful hand-sewn quilt.

Evergreen is the third of four Peninsula School District elementary schools funded by the 2019 bond - thank you voters!

Peninsula School District celebrated groundbreaking at Kopachuck and Key Peninsula Middle Schools today! Both schools will be renovated and expanded, with an expected completion end of 2022.

These two projects are in addition to the four promised elementary schools in the 2019 Bond, and were made possible due to construction cost savings and leveraged state funds.

Thank you to everyone who helped us pass the bond. None of this would be possible without you!

February 12th... and with more snow in the forecast, let us remember what we were doing two years ago today! πŸ–€πŸ’›πŸ™Œ
