Stand Up For Peninsula Schools

Stand Up For Peninsula Schools Stand Up for Peninsula Schools
www.standup4schools.org SUP is a volunteer-led school advocacy group for the Peninsula School District.

Stand Up for Peninsula Schools (SUP) is an organization that promotes local funding for schools and communicates funding impacts on our students and community. We promote the yes campaign for local school ballot measures. SUP was instrumental in helping pass the 2019 Capital Facilities Bond, which resulted in six major capital projects to address chronic overcrowding and out-of-date facilities, in

cluding 4 new elementary and 2 modernized middle schools. We also helped pass the renewal of the 2016, 2020 and 2023 Educational Programs and Operations Levy, as well as the 2023 Safety, Security and Technology Levy. SUP has spent years building relationships in our community and communicating the importance of local funding for the continued success of our schools. Stand Up for Peninsula Schools was awarded the 2023 Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce Citizens of the Year,
2019 WASA Community Leadership Award and 2018 Gig Harbor Maritime Festival Yo' Ho' Harbor Grand Parade Best Service Organization.

SUP will continue to support future measures for PSD!

Families with SUP signs have two options:
1. Hold on to them until the next election
2. Drop off at Jonathan Appleton’s driveway in Uptown (dm for address)

See you next time! 💛🖤

It truly takes a village.

Thank you to the many volunteers who gave their time, energy, and heart to support the levy. Because of this collective effort, our district will have the resources needed to continue Inspiring and Empowering Every Child, Every Day.

We are grateful for a community that shows up for students in such meaningful ways.
