The day of the horse…
Their presence prompts the soul to pause, listen and learn. To understand more about the mysteries that reside in the silent spaces of life. I was beyond blessed to have shared 22 years of daily lessons from this beautiful girl. She was my greatest teacher.

There is a huge void in our hearts as we mourn the loss of our beautiful lead mare, Desire. She was a fearless leader, calm, confident, sovereign, wise and discerning, collected, a loving teacher and healer.

She gave so much of herself to others over the past 20 years while partnering with me and the herd in offering Equine Assisted Therapy in both WA. and CA. She often knew what others needed before we ourselves knew and gently led us all into greater levels of certainty and trust in our own inner authority, courage and strength.

Her spirit will continue to guide and lead us into the future as we search within for the deposits of wisdom and grace she has left us as her living legacy. Forever with us, Peppy’s Dun “Desire.”
