Our 5th-8th grade choir and band students performed during elementary chapel today, much to the delight of our younger students! They will be performing again Friday night at the 5th-8th grade Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. in Navigator Hall.

Our youngest students are prepared and excited to showcase their musical gifts at tonight's Kindergarten and first grade Christmas concert! The concert begins at 5:30 p.m. in Navigator Hall. 🎶
Last Friday, Dec. 2, 2nd-4th grade students shined bright on the LCS stage, sharing their creativity and voices during their Christmas musical. Students put on a wonderful performance of "Glory to God in the Lowest", complete with music, singing, and costumes.
School will start two hours late on Monday, December 5, due to winter weather. There is no before school care and no hot lunch. Please have your student bring their lunch to school.
In celebration of the home boys' basketball game, Monday, Dec. 5 will be a theme day, NAVY OUT! All students are encouraged to show their Navigator pride by wearing navy, head to toe, while following casual dress guidelines. 🏀✨ Shoutout to 7th grader, Megan R., who designed this flyer!

Bundled up and braving the snow, a group of staff and parents met at the flagpole outside the Lighthouse entrance this morning to pray for the school, its students, and LCS families. Come join us to pray on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 a.m. 🙏

We are grateful for our wonderful students, families, faculty, and staff who work together to fulfill the mission of Lighthouse and share the love of Jesus. There is no school from November 23-25 for Thanksgiving Break. May your Thanksgiving holiday be blessed!
Over thirty Lighthouse students, staff, and family members volunteered to help clean up a portion of the Cushman Trail on Friday, Nov. 18. In partnership with PenMet Parks, volunteers were trained in safe practices, then headed out to the trail to cut back blackberry bushes, pick up trash, and keep the path clear. Thank you, volunteers, for serving our greater community!

Lighthouse 6th graders lead a schoolwide food drive to benefit the Key Peninsula Community Services Senior Center and Food Bank. Students collected food, laundry pods, toothbrushes, and other needed items, then delivered the donations to the food bank. Congratulations to Ms. Hannan’s and Ms. Hagen’s classes for donating the most items at the elementary level!

There is a “High School Meet & Greet” tonight at Lighthouse Christian School from 7-8pm. It’s open for all middle school families in our community. There will be seven local high schools represented.
This is a great opportunity to explore different high school programs in our area, gather information, and meet representatives from a variety of schools. This event is open to you AND your middle school student.
