Yesterday in middle school chapel, Kramer Payne, Lead Pastor of Heart Church, shared that salvation is not simply about getting to Heaven someday, but that Jesus has shown us the amazing life that God desires for us to experience right now. Through Jesus, God is knowable, and He longs to help us pick up the messy pieces of life so that we can live in His fullness.

Today in elementary chapel, our Kindergarteners gave a wonderful presentation on how to love our neighbors. Using the Parable of the Good Samaritan, students showed us there are opportunities all around us if we are only willing to be used by God to be a blessing to others. We also had some fun with three dads who volunteered to do the "Love Your Neighbor As Yourself STEM Challenge" - racing against time to wrap up their child in bandages like the Good Samaritan, build a donkey out of pool noodles and masking tape, and draw an inn.

All Lighthouse students had the opportunity to vote for their favorite name for our new covered play structure, which is currently under construction. Mr. Roddy, Head of School, revealed the name that won at elementary chapel today. The kids were very excited to hear the new name - The Lookout. Thanks to all our students for voting!

Every card delivered was handmade by LCS elementary and middle school students. This is a shining example of Hebrews 10:24 NIV: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." ❀️
