The Students of Distinction program honors 36 graduating seniors from the Peninsula School District each year in seven different categories.
Founded in 2003 by The Peninsula Gateway, the Students of Distinction Awards (SODA) became a program of the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation in 2013. As of 2016, the program has honored more than 430 graduating seniors from the Peninsula School District, providing over $200,000 in scholarships.
