Position descriptions are as follows:

Lead Teacher Description:
Lead Teacher is responsible for planning curriculum utilizing our core guidelines, implementing daily activities and learning experiences for the children in their care. Also responsible for ensuring that the classroom environment is clean, neat, safe and meets the developmental needs of the children. The Lead Teacher must have excellent written and communication skills with both parents and other staff members.

Our teachers receive paid planning time, paid training and generous compensation.

Requirements:
Be at least 18 years old, and have at least 2 years’ experience working in a childcare setting
ECE degree preferred
Valid food handlers permit & First aid & CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days after being hired)
Must pass a background check
30 hour STARS certificate.
Willingness to complete and attend all required job-related training - (Get Set for School Curriculum, Handwriting Without Tears, Second Step, Safety,etc.)

Assistant Teacher Description:
An Assistant Teacher is responsible for following and implementing curriculum within a classroom with direction from the Lead Teacher. The Assistant Teacher ensures that the classroom environment is clean, neat and safe while also providing an environment that meets the developmental needs of the children in our care.

Requirements:
Be at least 18 years old
Experience is preferred
High School Diploma or GED
Valid food handlers permit & First aid and CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days after being hired)
30 hours STARS certification
Early Childhood degree or credits is a plus
Willingness to complete and attend all required job related training/classes.
Must be reliable
