It's been such a privilege to be a part of OKCPS. We've had such a blast preparing for Capitol Hill & U.S Grants Power Withins. The mentors have stepped up and showed out their abilities to lead their peers into what is important within their school communities.
Let's not forget our Kick-Off Camps with Classen Middle School. These students are our future and the future is looking bright.

Amazing day with Bigfork MS mentors. They are prepared to meet their 5th graders and share their knowledge about all I wish I knew before MS and what makes a model 6th grader! Way to go Vikings! Bravo to Ms V for leading this team all year as they create a new legacy for Bigfork School District!

We got to spend a week in Oaklahoma City with our K20 Gear Up partners and Capital Hill HS. Training staff, talking about culture, training mentors and power within for the Freshman Class and Sophmore Class! Mentors did an amazing job sharing personal defeats and wins! Encouraging their peers to reach out ask for help. We are not alone.

Power Within for The Bulldogs. Getting comfortable being uncomfortable. Understanding the power of community. And learning how to lean in on one another!
I was in awe all day as 70 teachers and 50 student mentors led the way for every student. What an amazing staff and I know the mentors have a new appreciation for their teachers.

Eagle leaders finished strong supporting 25 classrooms with their first adapting to others lesson. So proud of our ignite nation trainers… adapting to any environment. Putting their student leaders first snd seeing them as their best selves. First time 12 hrs over 2 days mainly in outside covered area. Makin it happen

It is not easy to share your mistakes and what you have learned. It takes guts to admit when you were wrong. So proud of these leaders Honored to part of the Viking family!
Ignite Nation has been partnering with schools since 1998. We are honored to come along side educators and students across the country and help them build a success culture. It does not happen over night! It is amazing to see what can happen when a team of like minded individuals roll up their selves, and create a vision. This belief in self, belief in their classmates sparks a renewed sense of hope for a school. Our students our a big part of the answer!

Ignite has had had the opportunity to help develop mentoring programs in Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, Alabama, Arizona, Montana, Oregon, to name a few. And everywhere we go, it is the schools student mentors that get the desired results every school strives to achieve. It is the equity based diverse team that works with every incoming student. They give countless hours into developing leadership skills, stepping out of their box and really making a commitment to help every incoming student succeed. The mentors see themselves sitting at their mentees graduation, Yes of course, they support them academically, but more then that....they help every incoming student fit in and give them advice and encouragement every step of the way!
