I swear this boy is ALWAYS into something!!! These two pictures were within five minutes of each other.

Prince likes to steal my contact case, in the refrigerator any chance he gets, and right in the trashcan as soon as you take the bag outā€¦.. Letā€™s not mention always jumping on the kitchen cabinets when he knows heā€™s not supposed to. And donā€™t try eating around himā€¦. He will literally jump in your plate! One night he jumped in my daughterā€˜s popcorn bowl and the other night RIGHT in my sour cream!

What a great weekend! DoubleDBengals Alani competed in the Champion class were she won 2nd Best of Division, 2nd Best of Color, 3rd Best of Breed in ALL 10 Rings!

DoubleDBengals Dark Prince had a great time at his first show as well!! He is too young to compete yet but went to get some experience and cheer his momma on! I was so impressed and happy with his outgoing personality! He was not shy or scared at all! Really joyed meeting young kids and playing with EVERYONE!

Update on Nova: First of an all I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and kind words from my post yesterday!

Unfortunately it didnā€™t end there. This morning I decided to go with my gut feeling of thinking there was one more kitten and Nova showed no more signs of active labor. I took her into the vet for x-rays and there was.

At this point, the only option for her was a C-section to remove the last kitten. I did not have any hope of it being alive and it was not. But Nova is back home recovering and being her happy affectionate self. I am SOO grateful to my vet and his team for always taking care of my Bengals!!

After some healing (and hair growing back) I hope to have Nova back in the show ring while we give her even more time to heal before breeding back.

As the weekend comes to an end I have gotten to experience one of the best things about breeding and one of the worst.

This weekend I got to see the smiling faces of new families getting to meet and pick up their new kittens! I enjoy this so much and already hearing how good everyone is settling in their new homes! šŸ„°

At the same time, this morning Nova went into labor with her second litter. I and many others have been waiting for days to meet the new arrivals. Unfortunately nature had other plans, due to complications with labor, we lost all kittens. šŸ˜¢ Momma is doing good so far and thatā€™s all we can ask for. ā¤ļø

My little trouble maker today!!

But I guess this is a good time to introduce DoubleDBengals Dark Prince!!! This boy has grabbed my attention and heart in so many ways! I love his face, ears, head type and profile! He is one of my FIRST Charcoals produced, I just LOVE his coloring and pattern. Last but not least, his personality has my heart melting everyday!

So Prince will be staying for a little while and gracing everyoneā€™s presence in the show hall! He was already neutered with his litter mates so will be shown as an Alter. Stay tuned for a lot more updates on Prince!!
