In 1995, Dolly Parton launched her Imagination Library.
Each month, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library mails a high-quality, age-appropriate book to all registered children, addressed to them, at no cost to the child’s family.
Dolly wanted children to be excited about books and to feel the magic that books can create.
To honor Dolly’s passion for childhood literacy, her family is encouraging fans to donate to the Imagination Library.

Last week we rolled out the red carpet for a fabulous movie premiere!
Over the summer these teens worked super hard and created a masterpiece. They did all of the writing, acting, and editing for their film The Space Dino Cult vs. Jenkins. It was fabulous!
We had such a good time celebrating their hard work. Thanks to everyone who came out. And a special thanks to Once Upon A Chocolate for creating some chocolate Oscar statuettes for our stars!!

STORYTIME IS BACK!!

Ms Amy will be back to reading stories, singing songs, playing games, and doing crafts next Tuesday, September 1st!

Come meet some new friends and have a good time with Ms Amy.

Storytimes are Tuesdays at 10am Sept - July.

Calling all artists! The Friends of the Gibsonville Library will hold its 4th Annual Chalk Walk and Read-A-Thon Saturday, September 26th, 2026. This fundraiser enables the Friends to support program funding at our tiny and mighty Gibsonville Public Library. Come spend a wonderful day creating art, reading books and having a great time in the community. Fun for the entire family. All artistic creations will be judged and prizes awarded for every age group in a friendly community competition.
