This week’s Gibsonville GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) is our incredible Assistant Principal, Dr. Casterlow! 🎉🐝

Dr. Casterlow is someone who is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed. Whether she’s supporting a student, helping a staff member, connecting with a family, or simply doing whatever it takes to keep The Hive moving forward, she leads with a true team-first mentality.

Her commitment, flexibility, and heart for Gibsonville make a difference every single day. We are grateful to have her helping make The Gibsonville Experience something special for our students, staff, and families.

Together, we made an impact! 🎒📚

The Baseball United Foundation—The BU Movement—was honored to partner with Grace Church for our Alamance School Supply Drive. Because of the incredible generosity of the Grace Church family and community, we delivered school supplies to:

📍 Gibsonville Elementary�📍 South Mebane Elementary�📍 Southeast Alamance High School�📍 Alexander Wilson Elementary

We were also able to provide eight individual students with backpacks filled with school supplies!

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, organized supplies, and helped make these deliveries possible. Your kindness showed up in a big way, and it will make a lasting difference for students and families throughout Alamance County.

This is only the beginning. With your continued support, we hope to reach more schools and serve more students each year.

The Guilford County Partnership for Children joins communities across the nation in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, whose extraordinary legacy extends far beyond music. Through her generosity to children and families, Dolly transformed countless lives and inspired generations through the power of literacy.

As the local affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, we have witnessed firsthand the impact of her belief that every child deserves access to books. Since 2017, the program has grown from serving four Guilford County ZIP codes to reaching all 53 ZIP codes throughout our community. To date, 2,125,147 books have been mailed to local children, helping families build home libraries and establish a lifelong love of reading. During fiscal year 2025-2026, 18,988 children under the age of five received free books through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. T

Today, the program serves 61% of Guilford County's youngest children, ensuring that thousands of families have access to high-quality books delivered directly to their homes each month.

The Guilford County Partnership for Children remains deeply committed to carrying this mission forward. We are honored to continue administering Dolly Parton's Imagination Library locally and ensuring that children throughout Guilford County have access to the gift of books.

Those wishing to honor Dolly Parton's legacy may support the local Imagination Library program at guilfordchildren.org/donate. A gift of $30 provides one child with a full year of free books, helping continue the work that meant so much to Dolly and to the families we serve.

Today, we celebrate a life dedicated to generosity, compassion, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to dream. We are grateful for Dolly Parton's remarkable legacy and the lasting impact she leaves on Guilford County and communities around the world.

🐝 TOMORROW IS THE DAY, YELLOW JACKETS! 🐝

We are so excited to welcome our students back to The Hive for the first day of school! 💛🖤

⏰ Arrival begins at 7:00 AM.
🚶‍♂️ For the FIRST DAY ONLY, parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child to class. Beginning Tuesday, we’ll start our regular arrival routines and let our Yellow Jackets show us the way! 🐝

🚗 Dismissal begins at 2:10 PM. Please have a little extra patience for the first few days. Dismissal will likely take longer than normal as students, families, and staff learn our routines and we make sure every student gets home safely.

🚶 Walkers will begin dismissing around 2:20 PM.

We can’t wait to see our Yellow Jackets tomorrow and officially begin The Gibsonville Experience for 2026–2027!
