Good morning families. One update for the week.

We are suppose to be having a class party with Mrs Caryn’s class Friday for September birthdays/back to school. We are requesting that you send in snacks. Here is a list of what we would like to be brought in:

in my class we have 17 people.

20 Cupcakes
Plates/Napkins
Forks/spoons
Chips
Juice
Veggie tray
Fruit tray

Please post a comment on what you are bringing so everyone does not bring the same thing :)

So the binders are just not working for the kids to keep up with their notes. So we are going to try a different approach… I need everybody to send in 5 (2 pocket) folders each. Please send these folders in by Friday. Thank you all

I sent home their red take home folders today with important papers in them. They do have homework tonight.
*Write your spelling words 3 times each!
*Read for 20 minutes
*Get caught up on any work that you are behind on.

Please bring red folders back tomorrow.

**Also please stress to the kids how important it is to keep up with their notes EVERYDAY! They will only get 1 copy of the notes. And I’m finding a bunch of notes crumbled up thrown on the floor each day. These notes can be used on their quizzes and test. **

Please tell your child to make sure they are completely caught up with all assignments by Friday morning or they will receive a zero for unfinished assignments.

Good Evening Parents! So I wanted to give you a few reminders for the upcoming week…
1st: we will begin our electives on Tuesday of this week.
2nd: tomorrow is wear Red,White & Blue in remembrance of 9/11
3rd: Hot lunches start this week if you ordered it.

* please remember to check your child’s computer daily. If your child has anything that is not up to date not completed please have them complete it for homework so they do not get behind.

* I will post the assignments that we do each day.

*Both 4th and 5th has a spelling quiz on Thursday of this week, so please have your child study their words. I posted their words over the weekend.

*Your child will receive notes for each lesson, they are to be placed in their binders so they can use them on their quizzes and test. Please stress to them how important it is for them to keep up with them.

Good afternoon parents! So a few notes..

1. Please make sure your child returns their red take home folders everyday.

2. Please make sure your child has a binder with dividers in it so they can put their daily notes in them.

3. Please make sure your child has headphones for their computers.

4. Please check your child’s computer every night. If your child has an assignment with todays date on it, then it needs to be completed for homework so that they do not get behind.

5. And lastly… if you see that your child has a few poor grades in the beginning, please know they are all learning the computer and the curriculum itself. It’s a little tricky until you learn it. Please don’t worry about the bad grades, they will come up I promise. It usually takes about a week for the kids to learn the computer and the curriculum.

*just so you know, each child will get 2 attempts on their lessons. So if they do poorly on the first attempt they will get a second attempt to try to pull their grade up.
They will only get 1 attempt on their test. However, they will be allowed to use all of their notes on their quizzes and test. So please tell them to keep up with their notes everyday!

Happy First Day of School!!!
We’ve have an awesome first day of school today. We got to know our classmates, and learned how to work ignitia.
Today we completed our first Bible lesson on ignitia. If your child didn’t complete the lesson on their computer please have them do it for homework tonight.

Also please make sure your child brings a notebook for writing. And they have a charged updated computer everyday.
Also please make sure to send a snack/lunch and a water bottle with your child daily.
