Hosanna Industries was founded in 1990 as a faith-rooted, non-profit mission whose work involves a variety of charitable initiatives aimed at helping our impoverished neighbors. By the grace of God and through the mechanical and aesthetic arts, mission workers at Hosanna Industries builds and repairs homes for needy households; mobilize relief workers to areas of disaster; teach and lead workshops

in art and spirituality; train young people in construction skills; and lead volunteers of all ages. Hosanna relies on donations to help hundreds of needy neighbors per year.

A huge THANK YOU to our Summer Field Staff, Bo, Russell, Noah, and Austin!

All summer long, these guys worked alongside our full-time crew, often in brutal heat, to help repair homes for families who need it most. Their hard work made a real difference for families across Allegheny, Butler, Beaver, and Cambria Counties.

Bo, Noah, and Austin, we're going to miss you on the job site. Thank you for everything you gave this summer.

And Russell, we are so excited that you're joining the Field Staff full-time! We couldn't be happier to have you stick around.

AARP empowers people to choose how they live as they age. Chapter 595’s Glove Drive for Hosanna Industries strengthens neighborhood stability and supports volunteers who repair homes for needy residents. We are incredibly grateful for AARP Chapter 595’s generosity and support, which helps equip our volunteers as we work to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need throughout our community.

Last week, volunteers from Hope Lutheran and Lutheran Synod came together to put a new roof and siding on a home in disrepair, for a neighbor who was in need.

One of our amazing volunteers was terrified of heights, but she climbed up on that roof anyway. "Perfect love casts out fear," and she leaned on that verse for support, with every step up the ladder. No hesitation once she was up there, just steady work alongside the rest of the crew, one hammer, one nail, one shingle at a time.

That's the heart of Hosanna ministry. We don't wait until we feel ready or fearless. We show up, we trust God to meet us there, and we let Him do the rest. We are grateful for every volunteer, and especially for the one who let her faith be bigger than her fear, in order to serve her community. 💚

To every business in our community, we need your help.

For 35 years, Hosanna Industries has been repairing homes for families who have nowhere else to turn. Leaking roofs. Handicap accessible ramps. Unsafe structures. We fix them for free, because we believe everyone deserves a safe place to live.

But we can't do God's work without you.

Our 29th Annual Golf Benefit on September 14th is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, and we're actively looking for business sponsors who want to invest in the community they serve every day. And as a BONUS, some sponsorship levels include a free round of golf, so you can spend the day on the course with our mission team, and other businesses serving the community.

🐛 Hey parents!
When's the last time you sat down with your kid and just... made something?

The Caterpillar Crew is a program designed for exactly that. Snacks, art, and uninterrupted time with your child. It's simple, it's fun, and it's something they'll actually remember.

All proceeds support our Home Repair Program, providing critical home repairs to local families in need. Join us on June 15th or June 29th or BOTH.

They closed both of their locations. To come volunteer. 🙌

That's exactly what Glenshaw Auto Service Inc. (and Evolving Vehicle Services) did for their Annual Volunteer Day, and we are still talking about it.

Their entire team spent the day with us putting a roof on a house and completing yard work for a local family. No shortcuts, no half measures. They shut the doors and showed up, and that is not something we take lightly. Our volunteers are the life blood of our mission, and friends like this are the reason we are able to continue to provide critical home repairs for families in need.

What a day in Johnstown! 🙌

Huge shoutout to the volunteers from 1st Summit Bank who came out Wednesday and got up on a roof with us. This crew has shown up for 4 out of the 5 years of our Johnstown initiative, and that kind of commitment means everything to the families we serve.

Critical home repairs don't happen without people willing to roll up their sleeves and give a full day of hard work, and this group does it every time without hesitation. We are so grateful for you, 1st Summit Bank! You are truly part of the Hosanna family. ❤️
