The Children's Center is a mission outreach of Hampton Presbyterian Church. We aim to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for area children and their families. Our small class sizes allow for plenty of one-on-one attention and opportunities for children to grow and develop a sense of independence and responsibility. Our program focuses on the development of the whole child with an e

mphasis on social and emotional growth. Our hands-on curriculum is exciting and stimulating and provides a variety of activities appropriate for each child's age and needs. Some of our key attributes at the preschool are:

- Certified and experienced teachers
- "Lunch Bunch" extended care program
- Christian education and music
- Movement education class
- Lending library

The following clasess are offered (please call for specific days):

- One day a week for 2 year olds
- Two days a week for 2 year olds
- Two days a week for 3 year olds
- Three days a week for 3 year olds
- Three days a week for 4 year olds
- Four days a week for Pre-K children

Spring Field Trips have begun!! Our 4s classes visited the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh today. We played in the Garage, made art in the Studio, exercised our minds in the Maker Space, and stretched our bodies in the Limb Bender. Plus, the bus ride was awesome!

The 2s have been having great few weeks in preschool! We learns about our five senses. We made binoculars to look for animals, tasted yummy popsicles and felt hard and soft things in the sensory bin. We loved learning about dinosaurs and learned the word extinct. And we talked about types of transportation while playing a driving game and playing with trucks in black sand and rocks. The 2s are always so busy!!
