Only blocks from Lake Erie, Parsons Elementary is nestled in the small lakeside community of Gibraltar, Michigan. Parsons Elementary School, serving about 430 students, has a caring learning environment. Every day, our faculty, parents, and volunteers work together for the success of all students. haracter traits of respect and responsibility. These traits, coupled with strong academic skills lay the foundation for our students' success now and in the future. From the challenging curriculum and high behavior expectations, Parsons students are consistently strong performers as they move to middle school, high school, and beyond. Parsons faculty believes that school should be a place where students are recognized for academic excellence as well as extraordinary effort and exemplary behavior. Parsons has a highly qualified staff that is committed to communicate student progress to 100% of our parents. Parent/teacher conferences are held in November. Phone calls, additional conferences, take home folders, progress reports, Response to Intervention Team Meetings and report cards provide feedback for parents. Parsons School currently has 16 classroom teachers, one physical education teacher, two music teachers (shared position), and one art teacher. Support staff includes one speech and language teacher, one resource room teacher, and an Intervention Specialist. Parsons School also has one intervention aide, two medical assistance aides, and one media clerk Parsons' office staff includes one secretary and one principal. We have three custodians, two cooks, and nine lunch aides.
