Police Officer Hiring Announcement:
The Gibbsboro Police Department is initiating the hiring process for the position of a School Resource Officer also known as a Class III.
The Gibbsboro Police Department will be accepting applications in person at the Gibbsboro Police Station.
Minimum Requirements to Apply:
1. Retired NJ PTC certified officer.
2. Retired in "good standing" with previous LE Agency
3. Valid PTC waiverable certification
4. Be able to work school hours
5. Be a citizen of the United States and the State of New Jersey and be able to read and write the English language.
6. Not have been convicted of any violations of the laws of the State of New Jersey or the United States.
7. Provide proof of a High School diploma or approved High School equivalency certificate.
8. Possess a valid New Jersey�Driver's License.
9. Submit to a complete background investigation.
10. Submit to and successfully pass a physical, psychological and drug screen testing.
