Professor Stiegemeier's class Introduction to Drawing (ARTS 141), section D, worked on a group project currently being displayed at West Gallery.
The drawing was made after the famous painting by Chuck Close titled “Big Self Portrait,” made in 1966-67 with acrylic on canvas.
The group's drawing is in charcoal on paper and measures 6’x 7.5’ in total.
The students who participated are:

March 16 - April 10, 2020, West Gallery brings a project of Still I Rise, THROUGH OUR EYES a photography exhibition with shots of young migrants forced into the Greek hotspot of Samos.
"Reporters and photographers have visited camps like this one before (locals call it "the hotspot"), but here the people behind the lens are adolescents who've lived in the camp for months, if not years, waiting to learn if Greece will admit them." - Nicoletta Novara

West Gallery Exhibit Opening

This exhibition is a celebration of the recent acquisition of Trilogy Graces, 2000-2004, an outdoor sculpture located in front of Brua Hall on Gettysburg College campus. The purchase of the sculpture was made possible with the generous support of Greg Islan, class of 1970.
